![]() HEALTH CARE You are your primary health care provider. It is important to assume more responsibility for one's own health. Learn about your body. Discover nature, the flowers, herbs and plants. You have a unique/special relitionship with Creation. One plant might be tasty for you and bitter for another. Nature reveals itself uniquely to each of use. Discover. Explore. You are a part of Creation. Today is the day God has made. Let us be glad and rejoice therein.
Educate yourself in massage and
relaxation techniques, swim, dance, run, jog, walk, row, hop, step, climb, swing,
mime, tai chi, yoga, feel fine, body/mind connections, stress reduction, dynamic
tension, work up a sweat and relaxation. Eat, sleep and be merry. "Choose life that thou mayest
live." Deuteronomy Most of our body is composed of water - so drink copiously
of the life source. Eat fresh fruit and vegetables -the less processed the better.
Educate yourself on nutrition. Exercise. If you don't use it, you loose it! The emphasis is on prevention and
maintenance rather than cure. You are responsible for your well being,
both physical and emotional. Do the best you can for your physical
body - it is only a vessel for the spirit. Proper diet, proper thoughts, right
livelihood and action, show compassion, share, and enjoy. Life is celebration. Diet For A Good Life
There is no one diet for every human as each being is unique. But, in
general:
Plenty of fluids, waters and juices Fresh fruits and vegetables -the
less processed the better Eat in moderation. Moderation in
all the appetites Stop eating when you are sated mostly vegetarian Enjoy your meal and give thanks "If the only prayer we ever
uttered was thank you, that would be sufficient." Slow (not fast!) once a week. Mostly water, juices, fresh salad, fruits. Spring cleaning once a year. A cleansing diet for 7 days.
